Most people think Arizona is a giant desert that is always enjoying blistering heat in the summer. What you may not realize is that Flagstaff can be found thousands of feet in elevation here in Northern Arizona providing cool temperatures and plenty of lovely forest scenery. This makes Flagstaff one of the top summer destinations in the entire southwest. The summer season is a great time to visit Flagstaff as you will find plenty of exciting events here in the area. Take a look at the top summer events in Flagstaff taking place this year:

Flagstaff Community Farmers Market

The summer season invites the Flagstaff Community Farmers Market to set up for the season for some fun. This will be the 22nd consecutive season for the market and it is going to be a big one. Real Wild and Woodsy

Each summer the Real Wild and Woody beer festival would take place in Phoenix. This event focuses on barrel-aged and sour beers for a unique festival found nowhere else. While everyone enjoyed this event many wished it would take place somewhere with cooler weather. This is where the Real Wild and Woodsy event was thought of for the 2023 summer season. This year will be the festival’s first time in Flagstaff and is sure to be a wild event. Guests will be able to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere full of rare cask ales, incredible wild brews, decadent barrel-aged beers, and many more. Each of these beers is from the best of Arizona breweries along with some regional and national breweries too. With your visit, you can help further the Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guilds’ efforts into driving the incredible Arizona breweries to as many hands as possible. Some of the breweries that will be on hand for the festival include Arizona Wilderness Brewery, Wren House Brewing Company, The Shop Beer Co., SanTan Brewing, Dark Sky Brewing, and many many more. Tickets are already on sale for the event with general admission and VIP passes available. The Real Wild and Woodsy Festival will take place at Pioneer Museum – Arizona Historical Society on June 24th.
