Throughout the year in Flagstaff a unique festival known as the Art in the Park Festival takes place in Wheeler Park of Downtown Flagstaff. This annual festival takes place over the Fourth of July weekend in the summer but also Labor Day Weekend for the start of fall. This unique event celebrates the season of art and live music for a multiday event. Wheeler Park is a beautiful and shaded park that offers plenty of space for you to walk around and explore the different vendors set up. This festival started out in the Phoenix area as the Real, Wild, and Woody festival before relocating up north and rebranding the name. The festival is presented by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild and focuses on a giant selection of cask aged ales and barrel aged beers. With the festival taking place in Flagstaff it can now be outdoors so you have all afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather while sipping on your tasting pours. By attending Real, Wild, and Woodsy you can sample most of Arizona’s top craft breweries and enjoy their rare beer selection. Fret not if you are not a strong beer drinker as there will be plenty of lighter beer options for you to sip on. The lively atmosphere will instantly draw you in and the delicious food provided by local vendors will keep your hunger at bay. Attendees have the option to purchase a general admission pass or upgrade to VIP for early entry; designated driver passes can also be purchased for those who plan on skipping out on the drinking and giving everyone a safe ride back to their vacation rental. The Real, Wild, and Woodsy festival is not the only beer festival taking place here in Flagstaff this June. The month also showcases the annual Flagstaff Beer Festival each year over at the Coconino County Fairgrounds. This local beer festival does not have a focus on the beer style served and will benefit a variety of local non profit organizations with tickets sold. Over 100 breweries are expected to be in attendance sampling out some of their delicious beer for you to try. In addition to a variety of breweries in attendance there will also be plenty of wineries and distilleries too. You will find plenty of big name brands that you have become familiar with along with independent local breweries that may not be on your radar quite yet. Flagstaff Folk Festival

Local small businesses will be setting up with their local wares and services from May 7th through October 29th each week at the City Hall parking lot in Downtown Flagstaff. The market will be open from 8:00 AM to noon for local goods such as produce, honey, arts and crafts, and plenty more. Don’t miss out on this annual event that is always a blast!
Yoga on the Lawn
Another great weekly event is the Yoga on the Lawn taking place at Heritage Square in Flagstaff. Help yourself feel relaxed with a quick 45-minute yoga session at 9:00 AM each Sunday. While everyone enjoyed this event many wished it would take place somewhere with cooler weather. This is where the Real Wild and Woodsy event was thought of for the 2023 summer season. This year will be the festival’s first time in Flagstaff and is sure to be a wild event. Guests will be able to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere full of rare cask ales, incredible wild brews, decadent barrel-aged beers, and many more. Each of these beers is from the best of Arizona breweries along with some regional and national breweries too. With your visit, you can help further the Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guilds’ efforts into driving the incredible Arizona breweries to as many hands as possible. Some of the breweries that will be on hand for the festival include Arizona Wilderness Brewery, Wren House Brewing Company, The Shop Beer Co., SanTan Brewing, Dark Sky Brewing, and many many more. Grateful Festival 2023
You will not find a bigger music following than the eclectic group of Grateful Dead fans here in Flagstaff. The Grateful Dead has been around for decades with their thrilling rock music and lively performances. For the 4th year in a row the Grateful Festival will be taking place here in Flagstaff. This Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia dedicated experience is an all-ages event that is perfect for music lovers everywhere. The festival features a massive outdoor setting where live bands will be hitting the stage for several days straight. The Grateful Festival will take place this year from Friday May 26th through Sunday May 28th. You can get started Friday night as doors open at 6:00 PM. The kick off show will be featuring Electric Waste Band, a San Diego staple that has been playing since 1989. Live music will continue to be play until 10:00 PM. The fun kicks off even earlier on Saturday as doors open at 10:00 AM. You will find musical performances from a variety of bands taking place across two stages. A yoga session will also be provided by Kali Ray Torres. Sunday features more yoga and live musical performances so make sure to visit the festival as often as possible. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be on hand to ensure you never go hungry or thirsty. This year’s Grateful Festival will take place at the Ft. Tuthill Fairgrounds. Flagstaff Blues and Brews

This outdoor festival takes place right before the end of the spring season and is a ton of fun. What started as a single day event has now turned into a two-day extravaganza. The Flagstaff Blues and Brews provides two full days of live musicians hitting the stage. A variety of breweries will be on hand selling delicious beers so you can cool off from the sun.
