Flagstaff Freaky Fouttours
Halloween is a holiday designed to celebrate all things spooky and you will find no shortage of spooky activities here in Flagstaff. Like other Northern Arizona towns, Flagstaff has a rich history with hauntings, especially in the downtown neighborhood. You and your family can go out and explore the supposed haunted buildings of downtown Flagstaff with the folks over at Flagstaff Freaky Foottours. They offer walking tours that will take you around downtown Flagstaff at night as the rich history is explained out loud. The tour is approximately one mile in length with around seven or eight stops along the way. This 75-minute tour will discuss the railroad expansion of the 1880s and the resulting hauntings at local buildings such as the historic Monte Vista hotel and even the library. Their haunted history tour is rated PG-13 making it the perfect spooky activity for families with older children. Reservations are highly encouraged during October and can be placed by calling 928-224-0518. Tickets start at $18 per person for this must-see activity!
Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Orpheum
For many adults, Halloween is never complete without getting to see a live stage production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This iconic movie has hit the theatre stages over the last decade and continues to be a classic tradition in the fall. Flagstaff will have the perfect opportunity for you to join in on the fun and shenanigans this fall season on Saturday 10/22. This Saturday will host two different stage productions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. You can attend the early performance taking place at 7:30 PM or stop in for the late performance starting at 10:30 PM. Each performance is known to bring the attendees into the fold by having them join on stage or being called out by the cast members. Tickets include regular viewing seats or the “More, More, More” VIP tickets that have you sitting upfront and practically being a part of the show. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an 18 and up performance only so no children are allowed for either performance. Get your tickets today by contacting The Orpheum Theatre by calling 928-556-1580.
