Halloween is a holiday designed to celebrate all things spooky and you will find no shortage of spooky activities here in Flagstaff. Like other Northern Arizona towns, Flagstaff has a rich history with hauntings, especially in the downtown neighborhood. You and your family can go out and explore the supposed haunted buildings of downtown Flagstaff with the folks over at Flagstaff Freaky Foottours. They offer walking tours that will take you around downtown Flagstaff at night as the rich history is explained out loud. The tour is approximately one mile in length with around seven or eight stops along the way. This 75-minute tour will discuss the railroad expansion of the 1880s and the resulting hauntings at local buildings such as the historic Monte Vista hotel and even the library.
